Letter to Berkeley Law Admitted Students

Dear Admitted Students:

Thank you for your interest in the Berkeley Technology Law Journal (BTLJ)! We’re excited that you are considering joining us here at Berkeley Law. We think you will love it here and hope to see you (in person) in the Fall! Until then, we look forward to meeting you at one of our virtual events and by email or phone.

Emma Lee, Editor-in-Chief, in front of the Law Building.

BTLJ is a fully student-run publication with an average membership of around 150 students. The Journal is dedicated to emerging issues of law in the areas of intellectual property, high-technology, and biotechnology, among others. We are consistently ranked as the #1 technology law journal in the country and are respected and cited by many, including the Supreme Court of the United States.

Armbien Sabillo, Alumni Relations Editor, at the annual Symposium.

BTLJ publishes four issues per year, including our Annual Review (or student publication) and Symposium issues. We also have an ongoing podcast and online publication program for comments which cover the newest developments in technology law. And, of course, we focus on building a strong community among both current members and alumni.

See our most recent issue, Volume 34, Issue 3, including Professors Deirdre Mulligan and Kenneth Bamberger on machine learning.

See this example of a recent podcast of an interview with Professors Erik Stallman and Tejas Narechania on net neutrality.

We hope you will join us at some of our virtual events where we can provide you with additional information and insight about Berkeley Law, BTLJ, and your future.

Members at the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology Gala.

Many of our Executive and Editorial members are also ready and eager to talk with you about anything and everything on an individual basis. So please feel free to reach out to any of us! Below is a list of the members and their contact information. We all look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome to Berkeley Law!
